Kick Stress, Embrace Happiness Interactive Forum

The ‘Kick Stress, Embrace Happiness Interactive Forum’ was a second series (Series 2) to create awareness about mental health particularly on how to study with minimal stress. The forum was held on Thursday the 21st of February 2019 at Thuis Wageningen (Stationsstraat 32) at 18:00-21:00h. The interactive forum was guided or based on five (5) sub-themes:
a) ‘Successful study with minimal stress’ by Mirjam Pol, Study stress reduction expert (https://www.mirjampol.info/overmirjampol.htm)
b) ‘Positive education, sport and exercises: a stress therapy’
i. Positive education and entertainment by Jessica Duncan, Teacher of the year 2016/2017
ii. Sport and exercises by SWU Thymos representative
c) ‘WUR support point on mental issues: encourage student openness’ by WUR Student dean/student psychologist/study Advisor
d) ‘My story: overcoming the stress storm’ by WUR students (in form of break-out session)
e) ‘Thuis Wageningen: home away from home’ by Thuis Wageningen and Startpunt Wageningen representative
